Thanks for this article. My two year-old brings home, as you mentioned, tons of art projects that tend to be a mixture of teacher-assisted masterpieces and avant-garde styled art my two year-old mastered on her own. As she starts a new school I am encouraged to support her in her positive outcomes-- from handling those scissors to tracing her alphabet.
