» Irene Taylor - A problem for parents

Hi Carrie,

What a thought-provoking blog about nighttime daycare. This is an issue I never really thought much about, but you are so right - how scary for a child to be dropped of at a walk-in overnight daycare. I'm sure many parents in this situation would choose such a facility carefully, but there are also times when that isn't possible.

Thanks for a very interesting blog!

Irene

I agree. I think that anytime a child is at daycare at a time where they would be normally sleeping can make them feel extra vulnerable because it is taking children away from the comfort and routine of their rooms. Another issue that I am planning on covering in more detail later is the issue of sick- child care, which is similar in some ways.
