» Feature Writer Naomi Rockler-Gladen - Great idea!

Carrie, it never occured to me to put labels on my daughter's clothing. We're currently missing a froggy sweatshirt and a snowflake blanket... not expensive purchases, but annoying nonetheless. The problem is compounded by the fact that my husband takes Gwendolyn to day care (he works a few blocks away), and he has no idea what clothing she comes in with at the beginning of the day. He's an equal partner in almost all caregiving issues except for clothing issues; he has no idea what clothes she owns, what she needs, what size she wears, where to buy things, or even what drawer things are in. So when Gwendolyn comes home in her froggy outfit minus the froggy sweatshirt she had on that morning, he looks at me blankly and asks, "What froggy sweatshirt?" It's actually more cute than annoying, but labels sound like a very good idea.
