I just saw a commercial for MyNoggin on Noggin. I am one of those parents who had my kid on the computer at 1 1/2. We allow our children access to the internet, and so far we to restrict the content to hyperlinks on their desktop. That will soon have to change since our oldest (6 years old and in first grade)can now read. But here is my big complaint about MyNoggin: to set up the free 7 day trial, you go online and have to enter a credit card, to ensure uninterrupted pleasure after the 7 day trial. However, to cancel the account, you have to call their toll free number and put up with some high pressure sales person. YOU CAN NOT CANCEL ONLINE. Ok, who remembers this AOL high pressure tactic. Education or money grab.

Hi Mattford30
It's excellent that you had your child on the computer at such an early age. I am just curious as to what websites you would recommend for a child that age. I thought at that age they were just tinkering. Times have changed!

As far as AOL's high pressure tactics and how frustrating (and almost impossible) it is to cancel, I have gone through it and it makes you want to tear your hair out. That alone is enough to deter me from subscribing, so thanks for the heads up!
